TrustCircle

Privacy Policy

Last updated July 1, 2026

TrustCircle processes information to support account access, profile search, structured records, evidence handling, responses and corroborations, moderation and review, and communication with users.

This policy describes the main categories of information we process and the ways that information may be used, shared, retained, or restricted within the platform.

Information we collect

We may collect account and contact information, search and profile information, submitted records, uploaded evidence and attachments, responses and corroborations, technical or device information, and communications with TrustCircle.

  • Account and contact details used to operate an account.
  • Profile, record, and search activity connected to platform use.
  • Attachments, evidence, responses, and corroboration submissions.
  • Technical data such as logs, browser signals, or device context.

How we use information

We use information to operate the platform, support search and discovery, review records and evidence, generate contextual reliability signals, protect safety and platform integrity, communicate with users, handle correction and review requests, and meet legal or policy obligations.

Evidence and attachments

Evidence may be private, permissioned, or selectively visible. Not every uploaded file becomes publicly visible, and visibility depends on the product flow, the module involved, and the choices available to the user at the time of submission.

Reporter privacy

Reporter identity is protected by default where applicable. Even when identity is protected from public view, TrustCircle may still process reporter data internally for safety, abuse prevention, moderation, review, or legal reasons.

Visibility and sharing

Some records may generate summaries or signal outputs. Not all submitted information becomes visible, and visibility varies by module and product lens.

Sensitive contexts

Dating Reliability may use stronger privacy controls by design. Sensitive interpersonal records do not automatically flow into the public Behavioral Reliability ledger.

Data retention

Records and evidence may be retained for safety, review, moderation, dispute handling, and platform integrity. Where appropriate, users can request review or restriction of specific material.

User choices and rights

Depending on the situation, you may be able to request correction, request review, ask for restricted visibility, request a deletion inquiry, or contact privacy support.

  • Request correction when something is inaccurate.
  • Request review when a record, summary, or visibility decision needs attention.
  • Request restricted visibility where appropriate to the product flow.
  • Request a deletion inquiry where applicable.

For records, profiles, or incidents that need attention, start with the relevant page or use the review guidance page.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to help protect the information we process. No online system can promise perfect security, but we work to reduce risk and respond responsibly when issues arise.

International users

Because TrustCircle is global, data may be processed across jurisdictions. If you have a concern about how your information is handled, you can contact privacy support.
