1. About TrustCircle

TrustCircle does not:

• determine guilt
• adjudicate disputes
• provide legal judgments
• guarantee that a person will behave in a particular way
• replace professional due diligence
• provide legal, financial, credit, employment, housing, insurance, or other professional advice

You remain responsible for decisions you make using information available through TrustCircle.

2. Using TrustCircle

You may use TrustCircle only in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.

You are responsible for activity associated with your account and for maintaining the security of your credentials.

You may not use TrustCircle to:

• harass or threaten another person
• knowingly submit false or materially misleading information
• impersonate another person
• manipulate reliability signals
• coordinate pile-ons or retaliatory reporting
• doxx another person
• expose passwords, financial credentials, government identifiers, or other highly sensitive information
• upload intimate material without appropriate permission
• spam or manipulate the platform
• interfere with TrustCircle's systems or security
• use TrustCircle primarily for intimidation, retaliation, or harassment

3. Information about other people

TrustCircle allows users to document interactions involving other people.

If you submit information about another person, you agree to:

• act in good faith
• provide information relevant to the interaction being documented
• avoid knowingly false or misleading statements
• avoid unnecessary sensitive information
• provide reasonable context
• only upload material you are entitled to provide
• respect applicable privacy and legal obligations

Submitting a record does not guarantee that the information will remain publicly visible.

TrustCircle may review, correct, restrict, or remove information where appropriate.

4. Reliability records

A reliability record represents reported information about an interaction.

TrustCircle may structure records using information such as:

• interaction context
• relationship or participant roles
• timelines
• reported reliability issues
• responses
• corroboration
• evidence
• resolution state

A single record should not be treated as a definitive judgment about a person.

5. Reliability signals

TrustCircle may organize available records into patterns, dimensions, summaries, concern states, or other contextual reliability signals.

These signals:

• reflect information available to TrustCircle at a particular time
• may change when underlying information changes
• may include reported, disputed, resolved, or corroborated information
• are not legal findings
• do not guarantee future behavior

You should consider reliability signals alongside your own judgment and any appropriate due diligence.

6. Evidence

You may be able to upload supporting evidence.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have an appropriate basis for providing that material to TrustCircle.

Evidence is private by default unless an available sharing option is deliberately selected.

TrustCircle may access evidence where reasonably necessary for:

• moderation
• review
• verification
• fraud or abuse prevention
• security
• legal compliance

7. Responses and review

People associated with a record may be able to respond, provide additional context, or request review.

TrustCircle may:

• correct identity associations
• modify metadata
• restrict visibility
• remove content
• request additional information
• update related reliability signals
• suspend or restrict accounts
• take other reasonable action

TrustCircle does not guarantee that every disagreement will result in removal.

8. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit where applicable.

You grant TrustCircle the permissions reasonably necessary to:

• host
• store
• process
• organize
• reproduce
• display where permitted
• moderate
• analyze

that content for the purpose of operating and improving TrustCircle.

These permissions may continue where reasonably necessary for legitimate retention, security, backup, review, integrity, or legal purposes.

9. Privacy and data rights

Our handling of personal information is described in Privacy & Data Rights.

If you want to access, correct, delete, restrict, obtain a copy of, or otherwise exercise an applicable right relating to personal information, use the process described there.

Concerns relating to the accuracy, visibility, or appropriateness of a particular reliability record should be raised through Request review or report abuse.

10. Moderation and enforcement

TrustCircle may investigate suspected violations of these Terms, platform policies, or applicable law.

We may:

• restrict content
• remove content
• limit account functionality
• suspend or terminate accounts
• correct identity associations
• preserve information where reasonably required for safety, legal, or security purposes

We are not required to publicly disclose every moderation or enforcement decision.

11. No professional advice

TrustCircle information should not be treated as legal, financial, credit, employment, housing, insurance, security, or other regulated professional advice.

If a decision has significant legal, financial, professional, or personal consequences, you should consider appropriate independent advice and due diligence.

12. Availability and changes

TrustCircle may modify, suspend, or discontinue portions of the service as the product evolves.

We may also update these Terms. Where appropriate, material changes will be communicated through the service or by updating the date at the top of this page.

13. Disclaimers

TrustCircle relies in part on information submitted by users and other sources.

Although the platform provides mechanisms for responses, review, correction, corroboration, and moderation, TrustCircle cannot guarantee that every record is complete, accurate, current, or undisputed.

Use TrustCircle as one source of context rather than as the sole basis for a consequential decision.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TrustCircle and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from use of the service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
