Request review or report abuse

Last updated July 1, 2026

Something doesn't look right?

TrustCircle records may include information submitted by other people.

If you believe information is inaccurate, linked to the wrong person, abusive, misleading, unnecessarily sensitive, or otherwise inappropriate, you can ask us to review it.

You can request review if

You believe:

  • a record has been linked to the wrong person
  • important information is materially inaccurate
  • a record misrepresents what occurred
  • important context is missing
  • evidence contains information that should not be visible
  • content includes harassment, threats, doxxing, or unnecessary sensitive information
  • a reliability signal no longer reflects the underlying records
  • TrustCircle's policies have been violated
  • another legitimate issue requires review

How to request review

1. Open the relevant profile or record

Whenever possible, begin from the specific profile, incident, or reliability record you are concerned about.

2. Choose Request review or Report

Use the available review option and explain what you believe should be reviewed.

3. Provide useful context

Tell us what appears incorrect or inappropriate and, where relevant, provide information that helps us understand the issue.

Please avoid submitting additional sensitive information unless it is necessary to review the request.

4. TrustCircle reviews the request

We may review:

  • the relevant record
  • identity matching
  • responses and corroborations
  • supporting evidence
  • related reliability signals
  • relevant platform activity

5. Appropriate action is taken

Depending on the circumstances, TrustCircle may:

  • correct information
  • update an identity match
  • restrict visibility
  • request additional context
  • update a reliability signal
  • remove content
  • take action against abusive use
  • leave the record unchanged where appropriate

A request does not automatically mean removal

Disagreement with a report does not automatically mean the report will be deleted.

In some cases, adding a response, correcting specific information, restricting certain material, or providing additional context may be more appropriate than removing the record entirely.

Serious safety or privacy concerns

TrustCircle should not be used to:

  • threaten or harass another person
  • expose private credentials
  • publish highly sensitive personal information unnecessarily
  • share intimate material without permission
  • impersonate another person
  • coordinate retaliation or abuse

Content presenting serious safety, privacy, or legal concerns may receive additional review.
